This year the ACE program has continued to be aggressive in recruitment and has expanded its focus to more Catholic colleges and universities in the country.  Chris Kowalski (ACE 10) joined the ACE staff as a member of the pastoral team with additional responsibilities in recruitment, and thanks to his efforts this fall the program has reached out to students in more schools than ever before.

Chris, the ACE staff and faculty, and a number of ACE alumni have attended a variety of career fairs, post graduate volunteer fairs and have spread the word about ACE through various contacts and Catholic centers across the country.  This year has been different than previous years because ACE has developed new marketing strategies that include utilizing ACE alumni as a valuable tool to get the mission of ACE to a larger audience.

Although there is an increased focus on recruitment for ACE 14, the objective of these efforts has not changed. “The goal,” Chris says, ‘is to attract quality, highly motivated individuals who are dedicated to the mission of ACE in serving and sustaining Catholic schools across the country.”

We’d like to thank all those alumni who have visited colleges and universities to help spread information about the ACE program.  Applications for this year are due on January 23, 2007 and we're expecting to have another exceptional pool of candidates.   While this recruiting season has been extremely encouraging for ACE 14, we're always eager to build for the future.  If you are interested in helping with recruitment efforts in your area at this point or into the future, please contact Chris Kowalski at Kowalski.34@nd.edu
